The Middle Eastern Health Care Facility

The project focused on providing the Iraqi families in Columbus, Indiana with a clinic that suits their cultural theme and aspects. Patient's satisfaction of their environment is a significant indicator of the quality of care, and has a huge impact on their health. Therefore, taking into consideration the Iraqi's private and religious personalities, the design establishes a sense of community through the interaction of social events and educational lectures in the clinic. The cultural aspect took a huge role in this project in addition to selecting environmental friendly and acoustical material.
